WorldSkills 2022

WorldSkills in Shanghai unfortunately had to be canceled due to the pandemic prevention and control measures in China.

Instead of WorldSkills in China’s largest city, a decentralized replacement format entitled “WorldSkills Competition 2022 Special Edition” was held between September and November 2022. Vocational championships for a total of 60 professions were spread across 15 countries. Switzerland hosted the largest number of competitions. It hosted 13 of the 60 championships. The venues were Aarau, Basel, Bern, Geneva, Lucerne and Montreux.
